 |
1. We believe the Bible is the verbal and plenary inspired Word of God, inerrant
in the original writings, infallible and the final authority for faith and life.
2. We believe in one God, Creator and Preserver of all things, eternally existing
in three Persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are one true, eternal
God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory; although distinguished by
their personal properties.
3. We believe in one, true, living God, who is Spirit, in and of Himself infinite in
being, glory, blessedness, and perfection; all sufficient, eternal, unchangeable,
everywhere present, incomprehensible, almighty, knowing all things, most wise, most
holy, most just, most merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in
goodness and truth.
4. We believe Jesus Christ to be the eternal Son of God, the second Person of the
Trinity, who took upon Himself man’s nature, being conceived by the power of the
Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He is fully God and fully man.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through Hisdeath on the cross as an atoning, substitutionary sacrifice; and that our justification
is made sure by His literal physical resurrection from the dead.
We believe in the literal, personal, imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ a second
time to earth.
5. We believe the Holy Spirit being the very and eternal God, of one substance
and equal with the Father and the Son indwells every believer at the moment of
salvation. He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. He is the
Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ,
indwelling, and sealing them unto the day of redemption.
6. We believe all men were created in the image of God but fell from fellowship
with Him through sinful disobedience and are now under God’s condemnation, as
lost sinners, separated from God.
7. We believe that salvation is received by a person, in repentance, putting
his/her personal faith in Jesus Christ. We believe salvation is by God’s grace alone,
through faith alone, and in Christ alone.
8. We believe that every born again believer is the possessor of everlasting life
and is kept by the power of God, and is thus secure in Christ forever.
9. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men. We believe that the souls of
the believers are, at death, absent from the body and present with the Lord, where in
conscious bliss they await the first resurrection; at which time, the soul and body are
reunited to be glorified forever with the Lord.
10. We believe that the souls of the unbelievers remain, after death, in a
conscious state of misery until the second resurrection. At that time, the soul and
body are reunited. They shall then appear at the Great White Throne Judgment, and
shall be cast in the Lake of Fire to suffer everlasting punishment.
